SnapBud is designed to work primarily on your device. Depending on the features you use, SnapBud may process screenshots captured through the app, app settings and preferences, screenshot expiration settings, and basic technical information needed to keep the app working properly.

We do not sell your personal information.

Screenshots captured by SnapBud are stored locally on your computer unless you explicitly use a feature that sends them somewhere else. SnapBud does not automatically upload your screenshots to our servers.

When a screenshot reaches its selected expiration time, SnapBud can automatically remove it from local storage.

Information processed by SnapBud is used to provide the app’s core functionality, remember your preferences, manage screenshot expiration, improve reliability and performance, and diagnose technical issues when necessary. We do not use your screenshots to build advertising profiles or sell them to third parties.

SnapBud lets you drag screenshots into applications such as ChatGPT, Claude, Terminal, and other destinations. When you drag a screenshot outside SnapBud, the receiving application handles that data according to its own privacy policy. SnapBud does not control how another application processes content you send to it.

You can decide how long screenshots should remain available. When the selected time expires, SnapBud removes the screenshot according to the app’s deletion system. You can also manually delete screenshots at any time.

SnapBud may use third-party services for website hosting, software distribution, crash or performance monitoring, and analytics, if enabled. These services may process limited technical information necessary to provide their services. We do not give third parties access to your screenshots unless a feature explicitly requires you to send content to that service.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by SnapBud. However, no software or computer system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your own device.

You can delete screenshots manually, set expiration times, change your preferences, stop using SnapBud at any time, and remove SnapBud and its locally stored data from your computer.

SnapBud is not specifically designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy as SnapBud evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
